As the days and weeks have progressed into this very awesome year the future of the GEA has come into question. We know from when we have attended several Conventions over the last two years that there is interest in many aspects of various forms of entertainment, from Anime to gaming from cosplay to computers we all have something that just makes us excited about "Con".

Through the mist and shadows a shape forms and a cold wind blows.
The return of the warriors who serve you and lay waste to the
mundane doldrums of life with the explosive power of gaming.

Yes! Game Day has returned!!!!

With a new homeland and a new vision the GEA will bring you the rapture you so deserve.

Climb the vast expanses of the Himalayas to visit the home of the powerful Yeti! Yes "Yeti Games" at "Crestwood Courts" is our first stop on this new voyage we are undertaking. Travel along the road of Watson to find the great market and their your adventure begins.

More Photos are coming (I just have to get the camera downloading). Attached is the reading from Jon Klement's "Trouble with Trulks". Enjoy!

Thanks to our friends at Black Pigeon Press , Director Phillips and I will be heading out to DieCon X out at Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL. From June 4th - 6th, the Gateway Center will be filled with some of the best gaming in town (outside of our own Gamedays!)

A number of GEA Agents will also be coming out, but check back here from some great photo and video coverage.

So here is how I thought the April Gameday went down. I had my first REAL experience running the check in desk and I am sure I could have done better. It was unexpected and I was not really prepared to be doing that when I arrived that morning. What would our regular attendees like to see happen at the registration desk to make your experience better?

As far as games go, I personally played a little bit of Star Wars minis and then played in the Star Wars D6 game. Look forward to reading about my experiences in both of those games.

As if we could have chosen a better day, today we are planning to import the old users list from the .net site into the the .com site.

We are hoping for a smooth transition for all of our users. If you run into problems, please let any of the web team know and we will address your problem.

Thanks

It has been a number of crazy months trying to get a website "that works" together. The newly minted GEA is on the edge of getting some great events together. One of the missing pieces has been getting a website site that can help market our events and plans.

Thanks to all the agents who have given their ideas and support into pulling this site together.

Agent Suelly
Webmaster.
